HMS software
Hospital management software for connected care.
CARESOFT HMS software is a hospital management system for organizations that want reception, clinical work, pharmacy, laboratory, and billing to follow the same visit.
Software overview
Hospitals rarely lack effort. They lose time when each desk keeps its own version of the day. A person is written into a register, called from a token book, sent to the pharmacy with a slip, and billed from a separate sheet. HMS software replaces that chain of copies with one visit that each department can update.
CARESOFT is built in Kerala for healthcare organizations in India that want that kind of coordination. It is hospital management software for daily operations: who has arrived, who is with the doctor, what the pharmacy or laboratory has been asked to do, and whether the bill is still open.
It is not a clinical device and it does not make treatment decisions. It organizes the work around those decisions. The exact modules in a project are agreed before implementation. Review the feature groups.
Hospital workflow
How a visit can move.
The same sequence a front office already understands, with each step able to see the one before it.
Step 1
Patient Registration
The visit starts at the front desk and becomes the record other departments use.
Step 2
Consultation
The doctor opens that visit, reviews the reason for coming, and records the consultation.
Step 3
Prescription
Medicines and tests requested during the consultation stay attached to the same visit.
Step 4
Pharmacy / Laboratory
Pharmacy and laboratory teams work from those requests instead of a separate paper queue.
Step 5
Billing
The bill is prepared from services already recorded, then the payment status is updated.
Step 6
Reports
Administrators review the day’s activity without assembling numbers from each desk.
Core modules
Departments the system can cover.
These modules describe workflows CARESOFT can include. Scope is agreed with each organization before implementation. Screens on this website use sample data and are illustrations, not a live hospital system.
Patient Management
Keep one record for each person, from the first visit through later appointments, so departments are not maintaining separate lists.
Reception & Registration
Register a visit, capture the details the front desk needs, and direct the person to the right department.
Doctor Consultation
Give clinicians a clear view of the visit, notes, and requests so a consultation can move without paper slips passed between desks.
Pharmacy Management
Track prescriptions handed to the pharmacy, what was issued, and how stock moves, so dispensing stays aligned with the consultation.
Laboratory Management
Follow a test from request to sample and result, with a status the ordering department can see.
Billing & Payments
Prepare bills from the services recorded on a visit and keep payment status visible to reception and accounts.
Inventory Management
Watch consumables and stock levels so purchasing follows what the hospital is actually using.
Hospital Administration
Give administrators one place to follow daily activity across departments instead of collecting updates desk by desk.
Employee Management
Maintain staff records, roles, and department assignment so each person works in the part of the system that matches the job.
Reports & Analytics
Summarize registrations, department activity, and billing for review. Figures shown in product previews are samples.
Centralized management
What changes when the visit is shared.
Centralized management is an operational change. It does not, by itself, promise a clinical outcome.
One visit, shared
Departments add to the same visit instead of copying details into a second book.
Fewer repeated questions
Registration details captured once can travel with the person through the building.
Clearer handoffs
Pharmacy and laboratory see the request that was raised, not a verbal summary of it.
Bills that match the visit
Charges can be prepared from services already recorded during the day.
A calmer front office
Reception can see where a visit stands without calling each department.
Administration with context
Daily activity is easier to review when it is not split across desks.
User roles
Roles a deployment can include.
Access follows the job. A project can include some of these roles or rename them to match the organization.
Administrator
Reviews department activity, staff access, and the reports that summarize the day.
Reception
Registers the visit and keeps the front-desk queue moving.
Doctor
Opens the consultation, records notes, and raises pharmacy or laboratory requests.
Pharmacist
Works from the prescription queue and records what was issued.
Laboratory
Tracks a sample and updates the test as it moves toward a report.
Billing
Prepares the bill from the visit and notes whether payment is still open.
Interface previews
Illustrative software screens.
